January was a big month for BetterUnite. We focused on shipping updates that reduce manual work, surface better donor insights, and remove friction for teams running fundraising, auctions, and CRM workflows every day. Some of these releases unlock entirely new capabilities, while others quietly make existing workflows faster and cleaner.

Below is a breakdown of what’s new, organized by impact level.

MAJOR RELEASES

Advanced Bidding Add-On (Auto-Extend + Donate Your Bid)

Advanced Bidding brings two revenue-driving tools into BetterUnite auctions. Auto-extend keeps bids competitive, while Donate Your Bid turns losing bids into donations. Together, they help organizations capture more value from every auction.

Donor Scoring

Donor Scoring makes it easier to identify who to engage and when. Opportunity, engagement, and revenue-based scores help teams prioritize outreach and focus on donors with the highest potential.

DonorSearch Wealth Screening Integration

Wealth screening data now lives directly inside donor records and workflows. Teams can view giving capacity and likelihood indicators and use that data to power smarter targeting and automation.

Double the Donation Grant Search Integration

Organizations can now search for and apply to grants directly within BetterUnite. This streamlines grant discovery and reduces the need for separate tools or manual research.

ENHANCEMENTS

Donor Statement Updates

Donor statements are now more flexible and easier to manage. Teams can filter by giving totals, tags, households, and pledges, customize layouts, and merge statements directly into emails.

Activity Reporting

The activities page now offers a clearer snapshot of calls, emails, and tasks over time. This makes it easier to understand engagement levels without digging through individual records.

Virtuous Pledge Sync Support

BetterUnite now supports syncing pledges with Virtuous. This is a significant upgrade for Virtuous users, keeping pledge data aligned across systems and reducing manual reconciliation.

Tessitura Integration User Experience Upgrade

The Tessitura integration has been updated with a smoother, more intuitive experience. Arts and cultural organizations can now set up and manage the integration more easily.

Multiple Sending Addresses from the Same Domain

Teams can choose between multiple sending addresses when emailing from a connected domain. This adds flexibility while maintaining consistent branding and deliverability.
